Issue 3, Autumn 2021

Issue 3 of the EAS Quarterly Newsletter comes to you just ahead of EAS 3rd Congress Malta which runs from 7-9 October 2021, and we have some important information about the event to share with you.

Once you have digested the 3rd Congress information, we would like to hear from you - our EAS Members - about your pros and cons in regard to attending Congress 2021 (please see the end of this newsletter). However, we would welcome your thoughts on any topics of interest, any comments or ideas you would like to share with your colleagues, or suggestions about how we could make EAS an even better society to belong to.

ROAD TO MALTA WEBINAR SERIES

The EAS Road to Malta series of webinars has been a great success and the good news is that there is still one more to be presented on 7th September by Dr Ivan Malagon for Spark by Ormco.

For those members and registrants, the video recordings of the previous 3 webinars are available on the EAS website - free of charge...

TPAO CONGRESS

Treatment Planning in Aligner Orthodontics: EAS members are invited to an Aligner Congress unlike any other.

The Treatment Planning in Aligner Orthodontics Congress 2021 not only features experienced orthodontists presenting their exciting cases, it also brings software experts on stage to dissect these cases, addressing each step of the treatment planning involved. They will address all possible challenges and illustrate smart and efficient approaches to ensure aligner treatments are bound for success from the very beginning.

EAS ANNOUNCES PROGRAMME
for Malta Congress on 7th to 9th October.

The vaccination roll-out through the EU countries and many other countries around the world is progressing well enough to allow the European Aligner Society (EAS) to predict that our Congress will still take place on 7 to 9 October 2021. Final restriction lifting will not be announced until closer to October, but at present, the Congress destination of Malta is on most countries’ green lists for travel, and it is believed that restrictions on social interaction will be lower by October. It is hoped that the event will be opened by the Maltese Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health.
